Attention all eligible 8th-grade National Junior Honor Society candidates who have a 3.75GPA, the Student Information Form will be available Monday, September 8th, in room 413- Mrs. Peterson's room on the Thunder Hawks. All completed forms are due no later than September 26th. Please see Mrs. Swain or Mrs. Peterson if you have any questions. The student information forms will also be available on the HMS website.

Take a snapshot of your student and send the best one to Ms. Mayfield or Ms. Timmins for possible inclusion in the yearbook. Remember to include the student’s name and grade level.
We know the first day can be hectic, so anything from the first week is greatly appreciated. Even those pics of the students coming home at the end of a fantastic school day are welcome! One photo per student, please!

Rising 7th graders spent August making music at Summer Band Camp! 🎶 The camp gave students a head start on the school year, with one special week dedicated to students learning new instruments like the oboe, bassoon, French horn, and tuba. From learning new instruments to building friendships, they’re ready to shine this school year! 🌟 We can’t wait to hear what these young musicians will do this year!
