Students in Ms. Davis's 8th-grade English class reviewed prefixes, roots, and suffixes by building their own words! Students chose two or three word parts, connected them using toilet paper rolls, and then decorated their completed word to match the definition. This hands-on lesson helped students understand that combining word parts can determine a word's definition. Thank you to all the families who sent in toilet paper rolls for this activity!

Today, Thunderhawk students went on an egg hunt—but instead of candy, each egg had a question from their study guide inside! They worked together, raced to find eggs, and tackled each question like champs 💪📚

They even had TWO mystery eggs hidden out in the field 👀🥚—and the lucky winners who found them scored some special prizes! 🎉

Lots of laughs, a little friendly competition, and a whole lot of learning happened today. We are egg-stra proud of their hard work! 🐣💛

A huge shoutout to our talented student directors, Ashton Lencsak (HMS) and Will McNair (HHS), for their outstanding work capturing retirement videos to honor our retirees.

Leadership in action! Students created and taught their own mini-lessons over three days—introducing skills, leading practice, and finishing with a final performance or product. They took charge, supported their peers, and showed what it truly means to lead by example.

This month, we proudly honor and celebrate the strength, resilience, and sacrifice of our military-connected students. These incredible young people serve in their own way—navigating moves, new schools, and time apart from loved ones—all while continuing to learn, grow, and thrive.

Students in Mrs. Ehret’s math class recently took part in an engaging scavenger hunt designed to put their problem-solving skills to the test. To move from one clue to the next, students had to correctly solve math problems that unlocked the location of their next hidden question.

The activity helped students explore how adding, changing, or removing data impacts measures of central tendency, making a complex concept both interactive and fun. Learning + teamwork = a great day in math class! 📊

Our Boys Soccer team traded their cleats for golf clubs for a fun team bonding night at Topgolf! Players spent the evening competing in friendly challenges, sharing plenty of laughs, and building the chemistry that makes great teams even stronger.

Moments like these help strengthen the relationships that carry over onto the field. We’re proud of the way these young men continue to support one another and represent our program with pride—both on and off the pitch.

Our Mohawk Team has been working hard all season to earn points for preferred behaviors—and their effort has paid off! 💪✨

Students were able to use their points to purchase items from the team auction, making the rewards both fun and meaningful. It’s amazing to see our students demonstrate positive behavior, set goals, and celebrate their achievements along the way. 🏆
