What an incredible way to celebrate Music in Our Schools Month! Today, our band students had the privilege of hosting the Arcis Saxophone Quartet all the way from Munich, Germany. Thanks to our partnership with the Virginia Arts Festival, our musicians didn't just sit in the audience—they participated in an elite masterclass with these world-renowned professionals. Seeing our students learn from global talent was a true highlight of the year! A huge thank you to the Arcis Quartet for inspiring our young performers today.

Mrs. Davitt’s 8th grade English class is wrapping up their Research PBA this week in the media center, and these students truly brought their ideas to life. From blogs and vlogs to podcasts and student-led interviews, they explored creative ways to research, communicate, and share their learning using our media center resources. It’s been amazing to see their collaboration, confidence, and creativity grow throughout this process. We’re so proud of the work they’ve produced and the voices they’ve developed along the way!
