Students will come home today with their Impact Aid Survey card. The Federal Impact Aid Program provides funding directly to school divisions to compensate for lost real estate revenues due to an increased amount of federal property in their districts. Impact Aid funds support all of our students and programs across the district. We ask all families to sign and return their completed cards tomorrow. Federal Impact Aid generates close to $3 million for our schools each year! Help make an impact by returning your completed card. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom. 🍴 This week, we offer special thanks to our School Nutrition staff who work hard daily to ensure our students are fueled for school! Level Up With School Lunch! 🎮⬆ #NSLW23 #CPSCelebrates
