
In Mrs. Calliste and Ms. Hahn's Class, students worked together to solve decimal additional and subtraction problems. The students cross checked each other's answers and discussed how they worked to solve the problem.

Mrs. Jeffries class investigated time and distance of a robot using the LEGO Taxi. Students worked together to program the Taxi and recorded the results on their data tables to graph later.

Mrs. Brenenstuhl's class created models of the solar system using materials from around the room to represent the planets.

After reading the Ox-Cart Man, Ms. Brennan-Webb's students were each given "shopping lists" and items to barter to experience what it might be like in a colonial economy.

Our Chesapeake Virtual Academy (CVA) is proud to offer fully online courses to students enrolled in Chesapeake Public Schools.
