Ozobots took over the Media Center last week with our 4th graders designing balloons for their Ozobot Parade and our 5th graders using block coding to escape a cornfield maze.

Our fifth graders continue to explore energy resources. They worked in teams to construct a model of a windmill and then programmed the model to power the light on.

Mrs. Simmons class did a rain experiment today. They took water, placed shaving cream on top to act as the cloud, and put food coloring on top to act as the rain. They observed that the heavier the food coloring, the quicker the color moved through the shaving cream. They were able to make the connection that the heavier the rain is in a cloud the faster it falls to the ground!
