Our 5th graders in Ms. Warner & Mrs. Brittingham's class stepped back in time for a Colonial Market Simulation! 🕰️
They were assigned colonial Virginia jobs and tried their luck at bartering for goods. The big takeaway? Bartering is tough when you can't find the right trade! It was a fantastic, hands-on lesson in colonial economics and the challenges of a cashless society.

⛏️ 5th Grade Coal Mining Cookie Lab! 🍪
Ms. Warner and Mrs. Brittingham's 5th graders dove into a hands-on Nonrenewable Energy lab!

Students became "miners," carefully extracting "coal" (chocolate chips) from their cookies. It was a fun way to explore nonrenewable resources and how they get used up.

Great work, future scientists!
