The National PTA Reflections Arts Contest invites students from Pre-K through grade 12 to create art in various categories, including dance, film, literature, music, photography, and visual arts. This competition encourages students to explore the arts and provides recognition for their creative efforts. The theme for the 2025-2026 school year is “I Belong.”
How to Participate
Submission: Students submit their completed art and an artist statement to their school's PTA in the fall (Due to SWE by October 24th)
Local & Council Judging: Winners from the school level advance to their City/County Council PTA.
State Judging: The Virginia PTA selects winners from the Council entries to compete at the state level.
National Competition: Virginia's top entries are submitted to the National PTA for the final competition, with winners announced in May.
