Attendance Matters: Get in the FLO!
Western Branch High School is committed to helping every student stay on track for academic success. Our Flexible Learning Option (FLO) program provides additional support for students who need to recover missed class time or get extra help in their courses.
What is FLO?
FLO is a tutoring and academic support program designed to help students make up instructional time lost due to absences.
Students can recover up to 15 hours of missed class time through FLO sessions.
FLO offers targeted tutoring for any class or SOL subject area.
Who Should Attend FLO?
FLO is recommended for:
Students with five or more absences
Students in need of tutoring or academic support
Students planning to apply for an Attendance Waiver
To be considered for an Attendance Waiver, students must attend at least three FLO sessions.
FLO Tutoring Session Dates:
December: 4, 9, 11, 16, 18
January: 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22
Time: 4:00–5:00 PM
Location: Rooms K-01, K-03, and K-05
