This is a reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, May 14, our 8th-grade students will be taking the Science SOL. This is a great opportunity for our students to show off everything they have learned about the natural world, physical science, and Earth’s systems!

Thursday, May 14: Science (8th Grade only)
Thursday, May 21: Reading (All Grades)
Thursday, May 28: Math (All Grades)

Preparation Tips for Success

To ensure our students are ready to focus and perform their best, please follow these guidelines tonight:

Charge Your Chromebook: Please plug in your Chromebook tonight so it has a 100% charge for the morning.
Arrive on Time: Students should be in their testing locations no later than 8:15 AM.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast: A nutritious start to the day provides the energy needed for critical thinking and problem-solving.
Get Plenty of Rest: Aim for a full night’s sleep so your brain is refreshed and ready to go.
Positive Mindset: Read each question and all answer choices carefully. You have prepared for this, and we believe in you!

Retake Permission Form

Parents, if you have not yet returned the Expedited Retake Permission Form, you may still do so. This form ensures that if a student narrowly misses the passing score, they can receive targeted review and a second chance to test during this window.
