With our future so bright, the Bruins have got to wear shades! Summer came inside WBP this week for our Beach Spirit Day celebration and classroom transformations. We learned in colorfully decorated classrooms to the sound of waves washing the shore. Great memories!

In keeping with our theme of reusing resources, check out this amazing repurposed art created with your bottle cap donations and the combined talent of Mr. & Mrs. Burke! The students entered a contest to guess the number of caps used last week. We had so many great entry guesses, but the winner is.... Colin Smania. Congrats Colin! His guess was closest to the actual number: 1,473.

Our first-grade students participated in a Recycling Carnival last week! They have been studying how to reduce, reuse, and recycle resources in Science. Students and families participated by reusing resources to make a carnival game. Thanks to all, and great job!
