SUMMER RESOURCES

SUMMER SCHOOL

Chesapeake Public Schools is pleased to provide a variety of high-quality instructional programs for students this summer.  Generally, student placement in summer learning programs is determined by the grade in which a student is enrolled during the 2024 – 2025 school year.  All summer programs and classes are contingent on sufficient enrollment and availability of appropriately endorsed instructional staff. To learn more about our summer learning programs, visit our website.

IMMUNIZATIONS & SCHOOL PHYSICALS

It is important to ensure that your child meets Virginia's physical and immunization requirements for school enrollment as we look ahead to the next school year. To assist our community, we encourage families to review our web event calendar, which highlights various local events where families can register for physical examinations and immunizations, helping to fulfill the state's school entry regulations.
Rising 7th & 12th Graders.
Families may need to update medical documentation on file prior to their child's seventh and twelfth grade years. Documentation of these immunizations must be submitted before the first day of class. Our district is reviewing records on file. If your rising 7th or 12th grader is missing required documentation, the district and the school will contact you directly by text and email this summer.
