🌟 A Million-Dollar Investment in Our Future!

We are excited to announce that $1 million dollars in federal funding was presented by Congresswoman Jen Kiggans to the Chesapeake Career Center on Wednesday. Members of the Chesapeake School Board, City Council, and the Superintendent’s Cabinet were in attendance. The funding will support a new, state-of-the art facility that will allow us to expand our current courses and meet the needs of our local and regional workforce.

Students also provided Congresswoman Kiggans and her team with a tour of the current Chesapeake Career Center programs highlighting the hands-on skills they are mastering every day.

Thank you to the state of Virginia, Congresswoman Kiggans, and our local leaders for your support of Chesapeake Public Schools. Together, we are building a stronger workforce and a brighter tomorrow! #CPSCelebrates
