Congrats to our AFJROTC for their accomplishments at the Ft Eustis Obstacle Course Challenge this weekend. The Co-ed team led by cadets Cunningham, Mann, and Nguyen placed 2nd, while our Open team led by cadets Cooper, Ming, and Love placed 1st and set a course record time of 6:03.

Deep Creek High School dedicated its baseball field in memory of Wes "Bud" Swisher on May 13, 2025. For over 30 years, Coach Swisher taught English, P.E. and Driver's Ed and was the heart and soul of Deep Creek Baseball, achieving 34 winning seasons. 💜 He was also inducted into the Chesapeake Sports Club Hall of Fame and now his legacy lives on at his beloved field. Thank you to Coach Swisher's family, friends, former students, current baseball players, and amazing culinary arts students for making the celebration so special. #CPSCelebrates

All student-athletes, listen up! This Wednesday, May 14th at 5:30 PM, Deep Creek High will be hosting our NCAA Eligibility Family Night in the auditorium.
We’ll have a guest speaker directly involved with NCAA eligibility sharing updates on rules, regulations, and the recruitment process. Plus, some of your very own coaches — Coach Twine, Coach Allen, Coach Kip, and Coach Howard — will be part of a panel, along with recent Deep Creek graduates who are now playing at the college level!
This is a great opportunity to get real advice, ask questions, and learn what it takes to play sports in college.

Freshmen! Celebrate the end of the year with our annual ice cream social on Friday, May 16th during lunch, in the courtyard. The cost is $5 and you must have paid your freshmen class dues. You can pre-purchase your ticket in room 707 before school. Class dues can be paid to Ms. Keegan in the library.

The amazing Chef D and the Culinary Arts will be selling her famous pizza rolls on Thursday and Friday this week to benefit our wrestling team. Please show your support to our wrestlers by pre-ordering your pizza rolls with your 1st block teacher. Orders will be delivered Thursday and Friday for pre-orders.
If you don't want to pre-order, you can visit the concession stand from 8:35 to 8:55 on Friday morning.
Pizza Rolls are $3 each for cheese or pepperoni.
