DCHS Parking Pass Information:
The VDOE is requiring a new form that all student drivers must submit in order to receive a parking pass. Please download and bring this form (see link below) with you when you come in to purchase your parking pass. A parent signature is required. The form is fillable once downloaded.

👉 Carlos Rodgers, a rising junior at Deep Creek HS, is gaining real-world experience this summer through our Grow Our Own internship program. This paid opportunity allows students to explore career pathways while working alongside Chesapeake Public Schools staff.

💬 “The experience is great. Coming in and meeting the staff of the school, not just as a student but working with them, is fun. It shows you a side that you don't get to see while you're there during the school day.”
Carlos is interning in our Division of Technology Innovation, where his favorite part was learning how the Technology Department prepares Chromebooks for the school year. 💻
He hopes to pursue a career in logistics in the military and says this internship has been an “excellent opportunity” to explore future careers.
