Swim team news: Congratulations to both the Boys and Girls Varsity Swim Teams on their wins over Great Bridge Saturday!! Boys team won 85-84 and the girls team won 91-63. This is the first time in school history the hornets have beaten the wildcats and they plan to take that momentum into next weekend at the last regular season meet against Hickory! Come out to support both teams and all our senior swimmers at 1pm Saturday.
Dive team news: Congratulations to Sydney Holbach for placing second at the Hampton Roads Diving Invitational this past weekend with a score of 346.55. This score has also qualified Sydney for both the Regional and State Dive Meets! Come out to support Sydney at her remaining dive meets on Jan 23rd and Jan 30th!

Huge congratulations to the following swimmers for getting state qualifying cuts in at least one individual event: Ian Garth, Tyler Swartz, Troy Salpeter, and Annalise Iniguez. Two more relays also qualified: the boys 200 freestyle relay consisting of Bryan Syvertsen, Ian Garth, Troy Salpeter, and Dahmon Harmon and the boys 400 freestyle relay consisting of Ian Garth, Dahmon Harmon, Tyler Swartz, and Troy Salpeter.
Both teams will take on GB this Saturday at 5pm. Come out to support the hornets in one of their toughest meets of the season!
