We had an amazing day at our 4th Annual Teen Summit this past Saturday at Indian River High School! 🙌 We were honored to hear from former James Madison University All-Conference Running Back Dr. Eugene Holloman, who inspired students with a powerful message about perseverance and purpose. From mental health and money management to athletics, college prep, and stress management, our teens gained tools for success now and in the future. Thank you to our Department of Family & Community Engagement for organizing the event, and to our presenters, volunteers, and community members who made it such a success!

Congratulations to the Deep Creek Debate Team for participating in the 5A Regional competition this past weekend on February 28th. Isabella Alb and Jasmin Burl both competed in Lincoln Douglas Debate. A special congratulations to Dhanvi Sheth for placing 3rd in Congressional Debate. Dhanvi will continue on to Super Regionals on March 21st.

The DCHS Drama Club will be performing Dead Highway by Christopher Evans on Tuesday February 24th. This thriller follows a group of six teenagers as they fight for their survival during the zombie apocalypse. The show will be held in the DCHS auditorium @ 7 P.M. and tickets are $5. Come out and support the Drama Club. The auditorium will open to audience members @ 6:30 P.M.
