Long weekend at one if not the toughest tournament in North Carolina, The Gate City Grapple (formerly Holy Angels). Teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, and Virginia shed blood on Christmas Break to better themselves. Deep Creek got valuable experience and definitely got better! Congrats to Amir Wray Hill on placing 3rd at 120, Sam Diggs on placing 7th at 175. River Maynard placed 1st in the JV Division and Brady Ming placed 1st in the JV Division as well. The Creek Is Rising!

Congrats to Cadet Dameon Love! After excelling on a worldwide AFJROTC physical fitness & aviation test, he was selected as 1 of only 2 second yr cadets to receive a scholarship worth $20K to attend pilot training at an Aviation University this summer.


This is a reminder that the Red Cross Club will have an in person meeting on Monday, December 18 directly after school. We will be decorating boxes for our First Aid Kit donations. See you there!
