October is National Bullying Prevention Month and DCH is committed to promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion for all Hornets. Our school counselors encourage all students to reach out to others, make new friends, and ensure no one feels isolated or alone. If you are experiencing bullying, talk to a parent, teacher, counselor, or another trusted adult for help and support.
HOSA will be selling breast cancer awareness bracelets and ribbons for $1 during lunches Oct. 1-3. All of the funds are being donated to the Bra-ha-ha organization (an annual campaign in the fight against breast cancer sponsored by the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation).

Deep Creek Highs after school tutoring will begin Tuesday 9/23 from 4:00 - 4:45 pm on the 700 hall. Sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Students must arrive on time. DCHS students create a back to school s’mores themed display for everyone to enjoy. In the process they made s’mores on a stick, enjoying the sweet treat in class last week!
Students in Ms. Reed’s class celebrated International Dot Day today, September 15th, with water color art, poster making, and even graffitiing the halls with dots ! They even were able to ‘dot’ Mrs. Garret, Mr. Walker, and Mr. Underwood.
