
The DCHS Sophomore Class will be selling Candy Grams for Valentine's Day! Sales will begin Tuesday, February 11th and continue until Thursday, February 13 during all lunches. Deliveries will be made Friday, February 14th! Candy Grams can be purchased for $2 and will include a handwritten note and goodie bag of treats. Congratulations to both the Boys and Girls Varsity Swim Teams on a great meet and senior night Saturday. Thank you to all those who came out to cheer the teams on! The Boys team beat great bridge 99--70 finishing the season undefeated and the official South Eastern District Champions for the 2024-2025 Season. Both teams will compete at the 5A Regional Swim Meet on Saturday February 15th at 9am at the Princess Anne Rec Center. Come out to support the team make more history!

AP Government students toured Washington, D.C. this past weekend to explore federal government! They visited the Supreme Court, FBI Headquarters, Ford's Theater, National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Capitol, and the major memorials and monuments.











Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Swim Team on their win over Nansemond River Tuesday night, 108-62. The team is ranked 1st in the South Eastern District and are going into the last meet of the season undefeated for the first time in school history. They take on Great Bridge, who is also undefeated, this Saturday at 1pm at GBSRC. Come out to support both the boys and girls team and celebrate our seniors!

Seniors Emily Nash and Rutvi Sheth completed their Government Capstone Project by building a Little Free Library for DCHS and hosting a book drive. This project is a CPS graduation requirement for all government students.
