We can't wait to meet you! 📚

The scheduling process for rising 9th grade students for the 2024-2025 school year is coming to a close. Course request verification letters will be available in ParentVue, in the Documents section, on March 1, 2024 and parents/guardians will have until Tuesday, March 5th at 4:00pm to request any changes. These course request verification letters will list the 8 classes your student is requesting to take next year, as well as a link for you to approve the courses or request changes. Please request all changes through the link by 4:00pm on March 5. Please have your student carefully consider which courses they would like to take next year. Schools use these course requests to determine staffing needs, so course request changes may not be accepted after the March 5th deadline.

DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURE FOR CANDY CRUSH DANCE ON 2/23/24
The PTA dance is on 2/23; drop off and pick up procedures will be different for this event. Students will be dropped off and picked up in the same locations: 8th grade at the front of the building (Gym entrance), 7th grade on the stadium track (8th grade hall), and 6th grade on the bus ramp. There will be a check-in table at each of the entrances so it is very important to follow this procedure. We are also hoping it will alleviate some of our past traffic problems. Please see the diagrams below.
*** If you will be dropping off and/or picking up students in more than one grade level, please follow the procedure for the higher grade level ***
***In order to maintain smooth traffic flow, prevent students from having to navigate through busy traffic areas, and reduce the risk of accidents and injuries, we kindly ask that you refrain from dropping off or picking up students at Great Bridge Methodist Church (Stadium Drive) or McDonald’s. By avoiding these locations, we can minimize congestion and reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
6th Grade Drop Off and Pick Up:
Parents will enter the bus ramp from
Stadium Drive (The entrance and exit will be marked and there will be dedicated individuals directing traffic). Once on the bus ramp, cars will be assigned a lane (1-4). Parents will be instructed to text their child which lane they have been assigned for easy dismissal.
7th Grade Drop Off and Pick Up:
Parents will enter the track behind the stadium from the gate on Stadium Drive. Officer Ellyson will be at the entrance with his patrol car. Parents will drive around the track and drop off/pick up their students at the back of the building (8th grade hall), and exit onto Stadium Drive.
8th Grade Drop Off and Pick Up:
Parents will enter the parking lot at the front of the school building from Stadium Drive. Students will be dropped off and picked up from the gymnasium doors, vehicles will exit through the field and the gravel road onto Mt. Pleasant Road. There will be cones and dedicated individuals directing traffic.
