These events are hosted by the Computer Science Lab School (CSLS) at Oscar Smith Middle which will open for the 2025-26 school year for 6th and 7th grade students. The Lab School will focus on providing innovative learning opportunities in the computer science field.

Fifth grade Gators are off to see the Blue Angels at the Oceana Air Show. They have a beautiful day for a wonderful event.


Today Mrs. Rosenberg's students used a yardstick to apply different amounts of force to push a ball into a cup (much like golf). The students had fun learning about how forces can make things speed up, slow down and change directions.
Mrs. Hardesty's 3rd graders building Carnival rides using Lego robotic kits while learning about simple and complex machines.










This year we are once again partnering with Reading for Education to raise funs for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed. Reading for Education's program is 100% online so there is no selling or handling of money or products.

Mrs. Rosenberg’s second graders dove into the exciting world of skip counting by doing a hands-on activity focused on counting by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s. The students were absolutely engaged and enthusiastic!
Spirit Day in the Land of the Gators. Faculty and Staff were all decked out in their Gator blue. Burrito Perdido also came and offered us the chance to get a delicious lunch.
