The upcoming holiday season is filled with excitement, but it can also be a time when some of our families need a little extra support. 💛 🎙 In our newest episode of Amplified, we sit down with Lisa Kerry, one of our Family & Community Engagement (FACE) specialists and Nischelle Buffalow from Buffalow Family and Friends to talk about partnership, compassion, and how our community works together to make sure no one feels alone this season. 🎧 Hear the stories, learn how to access support, and discover ways to get involved at cpschools.com/amplified or wherever you get your podcasts. #EmpowerCPS #CPSCelebrates

🎃🎨 What a spooktacular time in Mrs. Yohe's class on Friday!
They celebrated Halloween by getting creative and making their very own class Squashy Jason Sylvester and decorating their own pumpkins! Seeing the students' personalities shine through their designs was the best part. What a great time combining art, creativity, and seasonal fun! ✨🧡

Mrs. Monroe's class embraced the holiday on Friday with our annual Book Character Day celebration. From stealthy ninjas to dazzling butterflies and courageous superheroes, our students showed off their love for reading and their incredible imaginations! Check out these costumes! What a magical day for literacy at Georgetown Primary. ✨👑🦋

They put their problem-solving skills to the test, collaborating to bring their sun-safe shelters to life. We are so proud of their teamwork and critical thinking!✨

Join us in celebrating these wonderful members of the GTP family! Share a message of appreciation below! ✏️🌟

We are asking our wonderful community to send in clean, recyclable materials that will become the building blocks for our students' creations!
We are currently in need of:
Plastics: Clean soda, juice, and water bottles
Containers: Used plastic food containers
Dry Food Boxes: Small boxes from things like cereal, crackers, and granola bars
A quick note on what to skip: We are all set on heavy cardboard/packing boxes and paper towel/toilet paper rolls for now.
Safety First: Please ensure all containers are cleaned out before sending them in, and do not send any used dairy items or anything with sharp edges.
Thank you for helping us bring big ideas to life! We appreciate your support! 💙💡

Please remember to send your little one to school with the Lifetouch order form that was sent home recently. We can't wait to capture the joy and spirit of our amazing students! Parents, make sure they are camera-ready! 🍎💙
