🎃 What do you do with a freshly carved pumpkin? Turn the seeds into math lessons!

Our amazing first graders got their hands messy today, scooping out tons of pumpkin seeds. We then used those gooey seeds to practice place value! They learned to bundle the seeds into groups of ten and count the leftover seeds as ones.

It's a festive, hands-on way to make learning about numbers come to life!
