This past weekend the Marching Hawks traveled to Rutgers University in New Jersey to perform at the Bands of America New Jersey Regional. In the Prelims competition, the Marching Hawks earned first place in Class "AA" (Double A) winning most outstanding music, visual and general effects. In the Regional Finals, the Hawks earned the silver medal placing 2nd overall. This is the Marching Hawks highest placement ever at a Band of America event. There were competing bands from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. This past weekend the Marching Hawks traveled to Rutgers University in New Jersey to perform at the Bands of America New Jersey Regional. This season, the Marching Hawks have been awarded 34 trophies from 5 different competitions, been named Grand Champion three times, and earned class champion 5 times!
