Yesterday was Feather Friday! Congratulations to these two who earned golden tickets for going above and beyond being brave!
Our students learned about plate tectonics in the most delicious way possible! 🍪🌍 Using graham crackers and cool whip, they recreated the movement of tectonic plates, discovering how Earth's plates shift and cause earthquakes, mountains, and volcanoes. #STEMfun #PlateTectonics

Friday was a blast! 🤩 Our students got a special visit from Ms. Marrero, the Youth and Family Services Librarian from Chesapeake Public Library, who led an awesome Battle of the Books practice session. We saw amazing collaboration, quick thinking, and a whole lot of book knowledge! 🧠📖 These students are putting in the effort to try out for the team, and we're so excited to see their passion for reading. A huge thank you to Ms. Marrero for her support! #BattleOfTheBooks

Mrs. Gerling and Ms. Coleman's class practiced their negotiation skills in a fun bartering activity for Social Studies.
