☀️💲The Virginia SUN bucks program assists families with the cost of groceries during summer break when school is not in session. It is a one-time benefit of $120 to each school-age child that meets the program requirements.

Seniors, this is your chance to visit the past and celebrate the future at the same time! Check the WBHS website or the Senior Canvas page to sign up for the Cap & Gown Honor Walk to your old elementary school (Chittum, Southwestern, or WBI). 🎓
After you complete the online form, pick up a field trip permission form in Room B-9. Signed permission forms must be turned in by June 1. See Mrs. Muncie if you have any questions.
Class of 2025: Caps and Gowns will be distributed during lunches on Thursday, May 22! Honors Regalia will also be sold during this time (cash only for $17 stole and $10 tassel).
Also, don't forget that there will be a senior meeting on Thursday during first block to discuss the procedure for requesting extra graduation tickets. NO tickets will be issued if you have outstanding financial obligations (senior dues, parking tickets, chromebooks & accessories, etc.).

Just a quick heads up for all our soon-to-be graduates. If you have any outstanding invoices, it's time to clear them up. We wouldn't want anything to stand in the way of your big day, right?
Remember, graduation tickets for your guests will only be issued once all invoices are paid in full. So, let's get those cleared up as soon as possible. We can't wait to celebrate your amazing achievements with your loved ones cheering you on! 🎉

The Bruins Got Talent Show will be hosted by senior Amy Polanco-Yapor this Friday, April 25, at 6pm in the WBHS Auditorium! Tickets can be purchased online via OSP or in cash at the door for $5. Concessions and Stargrams will also be sold for $1 (cash only) before the show and during intermission. Come see a great show!
Check out the schedule for Western Branch's FLO Tutoring sessions! FLO sessions are designed for students who need to recover attendance or gain assistance with any course.
WBHS will be administering the SOLs on the following dates:
-Reading SOL and all Science SOLs on Wednesday, May 21, 2025
-Math SOLs and all Social Studies SOLs on Wednesday, May 28, 2025
The bell schedule will be adjusted on these dates to accommodate testing. See the post for more information.
Prom ticket sales begin this week and go through May 1. If you purchase during this window, tickets will be $100. There will be a $25 late fee after May 1. Permission slips and ticket pick up will be on April 21, 24, and 28, as well as May 1 during all lunches. Permission slips can be found in the main office, guidance, and on the school website.
