Congratulations to the Western Branch High School Air Force JROTC unit for their stellar performance at the State Drill Championship held this past Saturday at Atlee High School in Mechanicsville, VA.
Through discipline, dedication, and countless hours of preparation, our AFJROTC unit earned an impressive 3rd Place Overall finish at the State Drill Championship! Only one point separated the top three teams!
The WBHS unit (VA-062) also achieved 1st Place honors for the Unarmed Inspection Team category!
Well done, cadets! Your character, leadership, and teamwork make our school proud.

On this trip, the students toured the Capital Building, attended the General Assembly, and were introduced on the Senate floor. They also toured the Governor’s mansion and participated in a question-and-answer session with State Senator Craig.
What a wonderful opportunity for our Bruins! Thank you to the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office and especially to Sergeant K. Matthews-Taylor!
