Mrs. Hoy's and Mrs. Mutter's classes learned about weaving (and patience) during an exploration of the contributions of American Indians this week.
Mrs. Stockton's class followed the directions in their textbook to create musical shakers using beans and plastic bottles. What a fun way to end the week!

The Second Grade field trip to the Learning Barge was a huge success! Students learned about conservation efforts, animals native to our area and the wetlands in this amazing hands on experience.

Second grade finished their literacy month author study on Ezra Jack Keats with an exciting breakout box experience created by Mrs. Wilfong. Students used their phonics, comprehension, and math skills to solve the clues and find out what Peter would do on his next snowy day.
