CPI is a FREE full-day program for children who will be four years old by September 30th and live in Chesapeake.

Our CPI classrooms have recently been observing caterpillars as they progress through their life cycle. The butterflies have now emerged from their chrysalises as painted ladies. These butterflies will be released into nature later this week. Way to grow CPI Baby Bruins!
Our students have been learning about Work, Jobs, and Community Helpers. Special thanks to Tobey Allen from the Chesapeake Fire Department for this recent visit where she shared how the Fire Department works and helps our community every day.
We recently celebrated 2025 Bike to School Day at WBP. The Baby Bruins were invited to participate in a Bike Safety Poster Contest. Please join us in congratulating these winners for the powerful posters that they created. Great job reminding us to be safe on our bikes!
This week, we celebrate good attendance! Students enjoyed Reading Day yesterday as a reward for good attendance. They listened to read-alouds, responded to stories, and read with buddies. #attendancematters
