Big thanks to guest speaker Michael Bonner from the Ron Clark Academy! He took the stage, dropped some major inspiration, and left no crumbs behind. We can’t wait for September 8!

E.W. Chittum Elementary welcomed a special guest yesterday: Dr. Susan Chittum, daughter of the school’s namesake and the first Superintendent of Chesapeake Public Schools. 💙💛
During her visit, Dr. Chittum toured the building and delivered school supplies donated by her family and the families of the residents at Bay Lake Senior Living where she currently resides.
Thank you to Dr. Chittum and Bay Lake Senior Living for their generosity and for keeping the Chittum legacy alive. 🐻

NEW Clear Bag Policy: For all district events, only clear bags will be permitted for entry. 🎒
Security: Guests may be subject to screenings, including metal detectors, at the entrance. 🛡️
