🎉 At Monday's School Board meeting, we had the honor of recognizing our PTSA Reflections Program winners across multiple artistic disciplines: Dance 💃, Film 🎬, Literature 📚, Music 🎵, Photography 📸, and Visual Arts 🎨. The recognition ceremony celebrated outstanding student artists from elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Chesapeake.The creative expression demonstrated by our students is truly remarkable.
👏 Special Congratulations to Jacob Forosan from Greenbrier Intermediate, whose visual arts submission earned national recognition with the USA Award of Excellence. Bravo!

On Saturday, the Office of Family and Community Engagement and Grassfield High School hosted Operation Military Families!
The event allowed for our district's military families to explore resources offered to them as well as fun activities for students and parents alike! Throughout the day, families were able to get complimentary family portraits taken by Lifetouch, enjoy bounce houses and games, eat a pizza lunch and connect with resources offered to military families in our area!
Thank you to Grassfield High School and FACE for putting on an awesome event for our families connected to the armed forces. ❤️💙🎖️
