📚 DE courses allow students to earn dual credit - both high school credit towards graduation and college credit. At this event, participants will learn how they can jump start college while in high school.

Last week, 11th and 12th grade students across the city participated in the Job Shadowing Program, an incredible opportunity to step into the real world of work!
Students spent the day shadowing local professionals, gaining firsthand experience in various career fields, and exploring their interests. This hands-on experience helps build career awareness, strengthen decision-making skills, and connect students with businesses in the community.

📢 Earlier this week, we visited E.W. Chittum Elementary for their Black History Month gallery walk! 🎨🎶📚🔬
The entire school collaborated to create an inspiring showcase of Black history, celebrating the contributions of artists, musicians, scientists, writers, and trailblazers. Students researched key figures and brought their stories to life through incredible displays.
Walking through the halls, we were immersed in the creativity and dedication of the teachers, students, and staff of Chittum Elementary. From vibrant paintings to powerful biographies, each display was a testament to the hard work and passion poured into this project. What started as an idea became a school-wide inspiration! 👏 #InspireCPS
