Our Chesapeake Virtual Academy (CVA) is proud to offer fully online courses to students enrolled in Chesapeake Public Schools. Serving students in grades K-12, CVA offers a wide range of core and elective classes, including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses, and provides special education services for students with disabilities, gifted enrichment opportunities, and services for English language learners.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year. Students remain connected to their home schools and may participate in all sports, clubs, and extracurricular activities. Mrs. Briggs' 3rd grade class had a VIP visitor today: Robert Knoerzer, a parent of a child in her class, recently returned from a long deployment, where he flies helicopters. The class has been studying maps & Mr. Knoerzer integrated this into his presentation. #SOARingHighatBRI
