SMA sophomores visited Chesapeake Regional Hospital to learn more about the healthcare profession. Students toured the Radiology, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Lab, and Surgery departments.
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Swim Team on their win over NRHS Saturday with a score of 96-73. HUGE congrats to Troy Salpeter, Tyler Swartz, Ian Garth, and Dahmon Harmon on qualifying for states in the 200 Medley Relay! Long weekend at one if not the toughest tournament in North Carolina, The Gate City Grapple (formerly Holy Angels). Teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, and Virginia shed blood on Christmas Break to better themselves. Deep Creek got valuable experience and definitely got better! Congrats to Amir Wray Hill on placing 3rd at 120, Sam Diggs on placing 7th at 175. River Maynard placed 1st in the JV Division and Brady Ming placed 1st in the JV Division as well. The Creek Is Rising!
