Congratulations to Deep Creek's AFJROTC National Academic Team which beat out over 350 high school teams to advance to Level II of the JROTC Academic Bowl. Team members include: Brady Knox, Krystian Egan, Dane Cunningham, Jasmine Casas Flores, Zoey Ndamukong, and Dameon Love.

Mrs. Nakata, the GIS Administrator for Chesapeake Public Schools, spoke with freshmen about careers that use GIS and why data is important for city planning.

In SMA Senior Seminar, students complete CPR training certifications to prepare for 30 hours of internships in the community. Meanwhile, Mrs. Myer's class practices phlebotomy techniques in PLTW.
