Ms. Latham’s Little Braves were busy building 3D shapes today using nothing but toothpicks and marshmallows! It was the perfect hands-on way to explore vertices and edges.

Who knew geometry could be this much fun (and this tempting)? Great work, Little Braves! 🪶💙

We had a blast celebrating "Mrs. Battle Day" at Georgetown Primary! Our amazing Assistant Principal was greeted with an office filled with floating balloons, each carrying a special note of appreciation from our students and staff. To make the day even brighter, our team rocked Mrs. Battle’s favorite colors, pink and green! Everywhere she turned, our Braves held up "Mrs. Battle Fans" and filled the halls with cheers of "Happy Mrs. Battle Day!" She loved the surprise so much that she is ready to make it an official holiday! Happy Assistant Principal Appreciation Week, Mrs. Battle!🎈💗💚📜✨#APWeek26

Our Braves are always finding new ways to RISE! After reading a story about basketball for March Madness, Kohen took his learning to the next level in the library. During resource time, he used his engineering skills and Magna Tiles to build an incredible basketball arena. We love seeing our students' imaginations in action. 🏀🏟️✨

Building a Positive Mindset! ✨📖

Our Reading Month celebrations reached a new high today with a very special visit from author Leland Clelland! 🌟 It was an extra special homecoming, as Mr. Clelland was once a teacher right here in Chesapeake.

He teamed up with another former teacher, Brook Archbell (illustrator), to create the inspiring book: I AM..Building a Positive Mindset for Kids! ✍️🎨

Our Braves loved listening to his story and were fascinated to learn about the journey of writing and publishing a book. 🏫💭 Thank you, Mr. Clelland, for empowering our students to dream big and think positively!
