The Hawks came out ready to SOAR in our first football game of the season🔥
A hard-fought battle, big plays, great teamwork, and plenty of Hawk pride helped us secure the WIN over the Great Bridge Wildcats! 💪🏈

Our 7th grade scientists kicked off the year by reviewing the basics of scientific investigation - including writing a hypothesis, identifying variables, making observations, and using evidence to support a conclusion.
And what better way to practice than with BUBBLES?! 🫧
Students tested different bubble solutions to investigate one big question: Which solution would create the biggest bubbles?
From forming hypotheses to testing, measuring, observing, and discussing their results, our Hawkeyes were putting the scientific method into action - and having a little fun along the way!

Today, Mrs. Taormina’s class took on the “Step-Up Challenge” to honor first responders who climbed 110 flights of stairs on 9/11! As a class, they completed 110 step-ups in remembrance of the courageous men and women who sacrificed so much that day. ❤️🤍💙🗽
