The Hawkeyes took learning outside the classroom with a fun trip to the Virginia Zoo! 🐾
Students explored habitats, observed animal behaviors, and connected their science learning to real-world examples of adaptations, ecosystems, and conservation. 🐯

Drive-ins! Greasers! Root beer floats and more! The 8th grade had a swell time learning about the 1950s. All core subjects collaborated to enhance students' understanding of the 1950s in history class and bring to life the classic novel The Outsiders, which students are reading in English class.
From playing The Price is Right to learning about the atomic bomb to dancing The Twist, the students got a taste of life in the 50s!
