Drive-ins! Greasers! Root beer floats and more! The 8th grade had a swell time learning about the 1950s. All core subjects collaborated to enhance students' understanding of the 1950s in history class and bring to life the classic novel The Outsiders, which students are reading in English class.
From playing The Price is Right to learning about the atomic bomb to dancing The Twist, the students got a taste of life in the 50s!

Our students made a splash during their school-day trip to the local YMCA! 🏊‍♂️💦

From practicing swimming skills to building confidence in the water, it was a fin-tastic opportunity for fun, fitness, and learning outside the classroom. We love seeing our students dive in, support one another, and enjoy every moment!

Way to go, swimmers—your energy made waves! 🌊
