📚🧬 Cells in Action! 🧬📚 This week, Hawkeye students took a deep dive into the world of Cells and Cell Division with some hands-on, engaging activities! 🧠 Organelles Speed Dating: Students took on the roles of different organelles and got to know each other through fun "speed dates." From mitochondria to the nucleus, everyone learned how each organelle plays a critical role in the cell! 🔬 Microscope Mastery: We explored various organisms under the microscope to see the amazing structures inside living things. There's a whole hidden world waiting to be discovered! 🎨 Chalk It Up: Students got creative and drew out the phases of cell division right on their lab tables with chalk. Who knew learning mitosis could look so cool? We're excited to announce that the Kindness shirts have been delivered to Hickory Middle School! 🎉 Students can pick up their Kindness shirts during homeroom in the library. For families who can't make it during the school day, there will also be After School Shirt Pick Up available in the HMS front foyer: Wednesday, October 9th: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM Thursday, October 10th: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM We will wear our Kindness shirts on Wednesday, October 16 to celebrate Unity Day!
