We celebrated our amazing 8th grade baseball and softball student-athletes! We are so proud of the dedication, teamwork, leadership, and heart these Hawks have brought to their teams. Thank you for representing Hickory Middle with pride and leaving your mark on our athletic programs! ⚾🥎
Our baseball team also honored the memory of Dylan Farrer, former Indian River coach. His impact on the game and the lives of student-athletes is a reminder that the influence of a coach reaches far beyond the field. ❤️

Hawks, it’s time to UNMASK YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT!
Our first Spirit Day of the year is also our FIRST PEP RALLY, and we’re kicking off Mystery & Adventure Week in true HMS fashion!
Reveal your true identity by showing up in your HMS school colors, Hawk gear, and biggest school spirit. Get ready to fill the halls with Hawk pride and the gym with energy!

In art, our 8th-grade HMS students dove deep into self-identity with a creative mixed-media collage project! After completing personal reflection questionnaires, they transformed their answers into visual art, layering different media to bring their unique personalities to life.

Our PE classes are bringing the fun to class as they compete in Kan Jam! Students are working on teamwork, communication, hand-eye coordination, and a little friendly competition—all while staying active and having a great time!
